Kylee’s favorite part of being an attorney is representing clients in court, in jail, and on the streets - the times when it matters most.
Kylee is licensed in California and Texas, as well as the Southern and Central Districts of California and the US Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit. As a general practitioner attorney, Kylee works on cases from all fields of law. Kylee is also an expert on protests and demonstrations, and directed the legal observer response to all demonstrations in San Diego county from 2016 to 2026. Kylee is involved in a wide spectrum of social justice causes, and is a well known activist in the San Diego community.
Born and raised in Texas, she attended UC San Diego in 2003, and decided to never leave after trying Carne Asada Fries for the first time. Following UCSD, she worked as a professional chef at La Valencia until 2010 when she began law school at University of San Diego.
When Kylee’s not working, you can find her roller skating, dancing, walking her dog, playing the drums, and lounging on the beach.

Kylee has experience across a wide range of civil litigation. Some of her fields of study beyond what’s listed here include higher education law, legal malpractice, and homelessness advocacy.

Kylee generally handles employee side litigation, such as wrongful terminations, failure to pay, minimum wage violations, meal and rest break violations, unemployment hearings, MSPB hearings, and MSPB Petitions for Review and Appeals. However, she also advises businesses on how best to comply with the law to avoid the headache of pesky lawyers such as herself.

Kylee has experience in complex immigration matters, including family based, J Visas, immigration/criminal crossovers, and "registry" cases.

Kylee’s first field of study in the law was criminal litigation, and she graduated from USD law school with a concentration in criminal litigation. Kylee has worked both as a prosecutor and a defense attorney across her career.

Kylee has personally attended hundreds, if not thousands, of protests, demonstrations and other First Amendment events in San Diego. Kylee has also studied demonstrations throughout the country and across the globe.
